The occupation authorities of Donbass consider Ukraine's signing of the "Steinmeier formula" their "diplomatic victory" and put forward "wishes" to Kyiv for amending the Constitution. The requirements of CADLO were voiced by the so-called "Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DNR" Natalia Nikonorova.
"Ukraine should carry out solid piece of work on introducing amendments to the text of the law on the special status of Donbass, and also begin constitutional reform in the country", - she stated.
According to the separatist, the Constitution should fix the status of the Russian language, special economic regime, its own law enforcement and judicial systems, its own prosecutor's office, special regime of cooperation with the Russian Federation and contractual relations with Kyiv.
As reported, the Minsk agreements, first of all, provide for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine by providing the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass with the status of "areas with a special order of local self-government". There is no talk about any contractual relations between CADLO and Kyiv.
