During the census, occupying authorities of the "DNR" intend to find out the sources of livelihood in the occupied territory. This is evidenced by the content of the "census form to be used" in the "DNR" census this fall.
It is noted that "the census form contains a block of questions about the sources of livelihood". In particular, as explained in the "DNR", it can be labor activities, including part-time work, private farm holding, pensions, scholarships, allowances, savings, dividends, interest, leasing or renting property, income from patents and copyrights, dependence or alimony.
It is indicated that "all sources must be indicated, but one that you consider to be the main one should also be noted".
At the same time, citizens will be asked about the availability of work a week before the census, in particular from September 24 to 30, 2019.
Those who work will be specified: whether they are hired workers or owners of their own business; the latter will be asked whether they attract hired workers. Also, there is a question of the availability of second job during this period for the employed people.
The "census form" contains 25 questions, which are grouped in the following sections: gender; date of birth; place of birth; marital status; citizenship; nationality; education and training; language proficiency; livelihood sources; employment and unemployment; migration; for women - the number of children born and the date of birth of the first child.
As previously reported, occupation power of the "DNR" intends to conduct a population census from October 1 to 14 of this year.
The census in the "DNR" is planned for October 2019, and in the "LNR" – from September 4 to October 18. According to preliminary estimates, this event for residents of the Donetsk "republic" will cost $4.6 million, and $2.2 – for the Luhansk. These expenses will be defrayed by Russia.
