Speculating on the results of Ukrainian sociological polls, leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin accused President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky of ignoring the opinion of half of the citizens of Ukraine, who allegedly advocate direct negotiations with the separatist leaders. This follows from the statement of Pushilin in connection with the Choice of Donbass campaign. Without naming specific sociological services, Pushilin assures that "Zelensky does not hear the opinions of his people: Ukrainian polls say that people are tired of the war and want to stop it, more than half of them spoke in favor of direct negotiations with the leaders of the "republics". As OstroV reported, sociologists' data on the readiness of the majority of Ukrainian citizens to direct negotiations with the occupation authorities of Donbass, actively spread by Russian and separatist propaganda, as well as by pro-Russian candidates for deputies of Ukraine, is manipulative.
Leader of the "LNR" Leonid Pasechnik actually admitted that he was ready to return the "republics" under the control of the legitimate Ukrainian government, provided that it was given a certain "special status". He wrote this on his Twitter. Pasechnik reported that he supported the action #ZelenskyRecognizetheChoiceofDonbass. "I joined the action and I urge every citizen of Donbass to put his photo on the website! I am convinced that in such a purely peaceful way, we will achieve the end to the war, fulfillment of the Minsk Agreements by Kyiv (first of all, special status) and recognizing the right of Donbass to integrate with the Russian Federation", - the "LNR" head stated.
Occupied Donetsk is gradually degrading, losing its civilizational gains of the pre-war period. This opinion was expressed by creator of the terrorist Vostok Battalion Alexander Khodakovsky in an interview with one of the separatist channels. He recalled that he had been absent from the "republic" for more than a year, so the negative changes clearly struck his eyes. "Now everything is slowly inclining. Quietly and creepingly. For me, the annual segment was cut, montage was made, I returned, and the desolation was more evident for me than for those people who did not leave the territory", - he admitted. "I would not say that there are much fewer people, at least this is unnoticeable with the naked eye: there are a lot of cars in the rush hours", - he outlined the glitzy front of the occupation. At the same time, he noted that the ever-increasing desolation of the regional center lies behind the external well-being. "There appeared to be fewer signs of civilization…", - he stated, having recalled that until 2014, everything happened just the opposite in the Ukrainian Donetsk.
Leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin replaced heads of the occupation administrations in Khartsyzsk and Debaltseve. This was reported in the "decree" posted on Pushilin's website. Victoria Zhukova became the so-called "mayor" in Khartsyzsk and Igor Zakharevich – in Debaltseve. Zhukova previously was "deputy head of administration" of occupied Horlivka, Zakharevich is former "deputy minister of fuel and energy" of the "DNR". Local self-government in the so-called "people's republic" does not have special significance: city leaders are directly appointed and controlled from Donetsk.
Thunderstorms and rough wind in the occupied territory of Luhansk oblast led to emergency situations, as a result of which residents of a number of localities were left without electricity and water supply, - the so-called "Ministry of Emergency Situations of the LNR" reported. The Petrovska pumping station of the second rising is de-energized because of bad weather, the water supply to Luhansk was stopped. There was damage to the high-voltage line 6 kV in Luhansk, as a result of what a lot of subscribers remained without electricity. As of the morning of July 3, seven streets were without electricity (630 subscribers).
