Maryenka checkpoint on the demarcation line in Donetsk region has suspended its work due to shelling. State Border Service of Ukraine reported about that.

"Taking into consideration constant shelling at the ATO forces near Maryenka by the Russian terrorist forces and the threat to life and health of people who pass through the Maryenka checkpoint, "the ATO headquarters decided to suspend temporarily work of the specifies checkpoint as of February 17th at 00. The decision to resume the work of the checkpoint will be made after the stabilization of the situation in the area. We ask the citizens to consider this information when planning trips,"- said the statement.

As reported by OstroV, the ATO headquarters stated on February 16th that Maryenka checkpoint on the demarcation line in Donetsk region would suspend its work on February 17th due to shelling.
