President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Leonid Kuchma as representative of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk. He stated this today at a briefing in Kyiv, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"Already on June 5, there will be the first meeting of a Trilateral Group led by Leonid Kuchma. I really wanted to appoint a professional person who is respected in Ukraine and abroad", - the President of Ukraine said.

Earlier, second president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma stated that he was completing work in the Trilateral Contact Group to resolve the situation in the Donbass in September 2018.
