"DNR" lies that Minsk agreements spell out division with Ukraine and path to Russia 05/29/2019 17:15:28. Total views 743. Views today — 0.

Residents of the occupied territories of Donbass are being actively imposed the view that the Minsk agreements and "autonomy" mean a complete break of the "DNR/LNR" with Ukraine and their integration into Russia. An active propagandist of such a manipulative interpretation of the Minsk agreements was Russian journalist Andrei Babitsky, who has been living in occupied Donetsk since 2014.

On the air of one of the separatist channels, he supported the campaign unfolding in the occupied territories, demanding President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to grant wide autonomy to CADLO.

Allegedly, such autonomy is provided for by the Minsk agreements, which, according to him, provide for the complete withdrawal of the "DNR/LNR" from Ukraine and their subsequent entry into Russia.

"What are the Minsk agreements about? In fact, the Minsk agreements are on secession, delimitation, and separation of these territories from Ukraine. That is, a confederal association (of Ukraine – OstroV) is supposed", - he tells the "points" of the peace settlement on Donbass, actually absent in the Complex of measures.

"In this action (flashmob demanding Volodymyr Zelensky to grant Donbass wide autonomy within Ukraine – OstroV), all the accents are put absolutely right: We stay with Russia and focus on Russia. No closer relations with Ukraine are expected", - A.Babitsky continues to distort the essence of the Minsk agreements.

"Initially, we should understand that the Minsk agreements are about division, and this division is proposed to Volodymyr Zelensky or the people who stand behind him. Division, not union", - he concludes.

As previously reported, the occupation authorities of the "DNR" placed a video clip of a Horlivka schoolgirl on the social network, who allegedly turned to Volodymyr Zelensky on her own initiative to stop the war in the Donbass by granting CADLO "linguistic and economic autonomy", "right to own militia", resumption of payment of pensions and so on. Similar videos began to appear in support of this appeal, then a special website was created, where everyone willingly voted for the idea of "broad autonomy for Donbass".

This project was approved by a number of "DNR" leaders and representatives of the occupation media. The plan to return to Ukraine is presented to the population of the occupied territories as implementation of the Minsk agreements. Allegedly, according to these agreements, the Donbass is finally separated from Ukraine and gets a real opportunity to join Russia.

In reality, the Minsk agreements, first of all, provide for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine by providing the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass with the status of "areas with a special order of local self-government". There is no talk about any "autonomy of Donbass". Under all the documents signed in Minsk, there are signatures, including of the puppet "DNR/LNR" leaders. Such concepts like the "DNR" or "LNR", as well as the names of any positions of "heads of republics", do not appear in the Minsk documents at all.
