"I fulfill the promise and publicly inform: today I present to the newly elected President of Ukraine a report on my dismissal from the position of the SBU Chairman. I also declare that in accordance with the procedure established by the Military Statutes, the relevant reports on dismissal from the positions are drawn up by all the deputies of the SBU Chairman and members of the team who were side by side with me to protect Ukraine on the heaviest days of Russian armed aggression. We do it sincerely, fully aware of the right of the new President of Ukraine to initiate personnel changes in the leadership of the Service", - the report said.

At the same time, he noted that as long as the President of Ukraine and parliament were not determined with the new candidate of the SBU, the active component of the SBU will continue to work.
