A group of pyrotechnic works of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine was undermined during demining the territory in the grey zone of the Donetsk oblast. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"Today around 10:30 near the village of Zaytseve, Bakhmut district, Donetsk oblast, during demining of the area near water supply of the Siverskyi-Donets-Donbass pump station (grey zone), the group of pyrotechnic works of the State Emergencies Service was undermined", - the report said.
As a result of the explosion, master sergeant of the civil defense service Oleh Boytsov died, senior lieutenant of the civil defense service Slepkan D. and senior sergeant of the civil defense service Bezkorovayny E. were wounded.
According to the press service of the General Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Donetsk oblast, currently measures are being taken to evacuate pyrotechnics from the grey zone. The circumstances and causes of the incident are being established.
