Leader of Batkivshchyna Yulia Tymoshenko believes that none of the candidates who passed the second round of presidential election will be able to stop the war in Ukraine and cope with other challenges. She stated this today at a press conference in Kyiv, - the correspondent of OstroV reports.
"The country is now in such a crisis situation, war, economic ruin and poverty. The challenges facing Ukraine are very big, the trouble in Ukraine is very big. And I think that none of the candidates who, by decision of the CEC, passed into the second round, will not cope with these challenges and will stop neither war nor misfortune", - she stated.
"Therefore, I cannot take responsibility for any advice (for whom to vote in the second round, - OstroV)", - Tymoshenko emphasized.
Tymoshenko also stated that she would take part in defending the results of second round of the presidential election.
The first round of the presidential election took place on March 31. According to information from the Central Election Commission, which processed more than 98% of the protocols, 30.24% of voters supported Volodymyr Zelensky, 15.92% - Petro Poroshenko and 13.39% - Yulia Tymoshenko.
The second round of the presidential election is scheduled for April 21.
