A sapper of pyrotechnic unit of the general directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk oblast was injured during the check of the Marinka - Krasnohorivka gas pipeline. This was reported Facebook by chairman of the Donetsk Regional Civil-Military Administration Oleksandr Kuts.
According to him, Ukrainian sappers and gas workers carried out work on the check of the gas pipeline, having confirmation of the ceasefire, accompanied by a mirror patrol of the OSCE mission's observers.
"The OSCE observers stayed on the road. The sappers and gas workers worked in the field. The fire was opened on two sappers, who surveyed the area around the gas pipeline, from the territory uncontrolled by Ukraine in about 2 p.m. The sappers were forced to shelter in a trench, where they stayed for almost an hour until their evacuation - for what the JCCC forces and armored vehicles were involved", - he noted.
According to him, the wounded man is being taken to hospital. His health will be estimated by doctors.
"The shelling of the monitoring group during a confirmed silence regime is another shameful crime of the pro-Russian militants. And they will have to answer for it", - the governor stressed.
