Commander of the Joint Forces Serhiy Nayev appealed to the residents of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, having expressed confidence in the restoration of constitutional order in the temporarily occupied territories. The appeal was published by the press center of the Joint Forces on Saturday morning.

Nayev reminded that in the outgoing 2018, the military operation in the east of Ukraine was transferred to a new format - the Joint Forces Operation. And now it is the Joint Forces that defend the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

"I am confident of our common victory. There are more reasons for optimism today than a year ago. Yes, it is still not easy for us, but the worst is over. I strongly believe in the irreversibility of establishing constitutional order and rule of law in the temporarily occupied territories", - Nayev stated.

He stressed that the Joint Forces, for which "the life and health of the citizens of Ukraine on both sides of the line of contact are the supreme value, are doing everything for the early restoration of peace in Ukraine".

"As Commander, I want to assure everyone that the Joint Forces will do everything to establish peace on the Ukrainian land. Celebrate securely - we are always ready to defend!", - Nayev appealed to the residents of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
