On Monday, the EU foreign ministers have approved a decision to impose sanctions on the 9 individuals responsible for organizing the "elections" in CADLO. This was reported on Twitter by correspondent of Radio Liberty from Brussels Rikard Jozwiak, - European Pravda reports.
"EU foreign ministers have just approved the visa bans and asset freezes on the 9 ppl the EU deems responsible for organizing the "elections" in eastern Ukraine", - Jozwiak wrote.
He added that the decision would be published in the EU official journal today around midday.
As previously reported, the EU considers the "elections", which took place on November 11, illegal and illegitimate and does not recognize them.
