Ukrainian political prisoner Oleh Sentsov is the most likely candidate for the Andrei Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought. This was stated on Twitter by Radio Liberty correspondent Ricard Yosvyak, - 112.ua writes.

"It is likely that Sentsov will win the 2018 Sakharov Prize this Thursday. I understand that both ECR (a group of European Conservatives and Reformists, - ed.) and ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, - ed.) will support him with EPP (European People's Party - ed.), which nominated him", - Yozvyak stated.

Earlier, Oleh Sentsov became a finalist for the Andrei Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought.
