Twenty-eight children have been victims of hostilities in the Donbass since the beginning of 2018. This was reported at a briefing today by Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine Alexander Hug, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"Since our last meeting, three children have died, two more were injured. The lives of 14-year-old Kyrylo, 13-year-old Andriy and 12-year-old Vitaliy ended in Horlivka… Considering these recent victims, the total number of dead or wounded children this year is 28", - he reported.
Hug stressed that these children "died or were injured due to the fact that weapons were not withdrawn, parties did not disengage forces and means, mines are still in the ground, and adults fired from the weapon". "And this is not an accident or error", - he noted.
