Counterintelligence of the SBU has withdrawn the former "minister of agro-industrial policy and food of the DNR" from CDDO", - the press center of the ministry reported.

It is noted that in September 2014, the man joined the ranks of illegal armed groups. As part of the so-called "Industrial Bulwark of Donbass", he was engaged in the supply of fertilizers, combustive and lubricating materials and other goods to CDDO, purchase of grain and the final products of agriculture.

Subsequently, having headed the "Ministry of Agro-Industrial Policy and Food" at the suggestion of the then leader of the "DNR" Alexander Zakharchenko, the intruder provided the formation of the staff and functioning of the fake agency under the supervision of Russian special services. Among other things, he also "authorized" the arrival in CDDO of the so-called "humanitarian convoys" from the Russian Federation.

"The "minister" was accused of abuse of position, embezzlement of particularly large sums of money and was imprisoned by his own associates for some time because of the conflict with Zakharchenko on the basis of redistribution of the stolen. Having found himself in the territory under Ukraine's control, within the open criminal procedure according to Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the man cooperates with the investigation and gives evidence about the activities of the terrorist organization, facts of Russia's direct involvement in the occupation of certain districts of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, theft of state property, destruction of infrastructure and economic complex of the region and other crimes of the Russian-terrorist forces against the foundations of national security and public safety", - the SBU noted.

Earlier it was reported that former so-called "Acting Minister of Agro-Industrial Policy and Food" of the "DNR" Aliyu Kamara got to the pre-trial detention center in Donetsk in December 2014. He went on a hunger strike in the spring of 2017.
