Today, the militants opened fire on the Ukrainian military positions in Luhansk region. As a result, one soldier was killed. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
"During this day, namely from 7.30 a.m, the enemy opened fire at the Mariupol and Popasna directions. The tensest situation was observed in the vicinity of Zolote-4 settlement, where as a result of concentrated fire of the enemy, one soldier of the JFO was killed", - the report said.
The press-secretary of the Ministry of Defense Colonel Dmytro Gutsuliak noted at the briefing that the deceased soldier was born in 1978.
