Law-enforcement agencies from the Joint Forces have withdrawn dozens of weapons and thousands of ammunition from the illegal turnover in Donbass over the period of two months, - press center of the Joint Forces Operation reports.

It is noted that during May-June, the military counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine from the Joint Forces withdrew from illegal traffic: MRO-A rocket launcher, 15 hand-held grenade launchers, 3 machine guns, 11 assault rifles, 2 pistols, more than 1200 units of grenade launcher rounds (of various modifications), almost 100 thousand units of cartridges of various calibers, 15 mortar bombs, 55 grenades, smoke candles and flares.

Also, the security officials continue to disclose the caches of "captured" weapons and ammunition, which were created during active combat operations as early as 2014-2016. They were then made both by militants of illegal armed formations and servicemen of units of national military formations of Ukraine. In some cases, dangerous items were withdrawn from postal items.

According to the established facts of unlawful activity, 20 criminal proceedings have been initiated.

As noted in the JFO, this involved civilians, former and current military personnel, who participated in ATO (from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, National Guard, volunteer battalions, etc.), and they will be held accountable in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

Received military weapons of destruction were transferred to military units for registration and intended usage.

"The command of the Joint Forces stands firm against the export of weapons and ammunition that can be used to commit serious crimes, including infringement on people's lives or committing acts of sabotage, to the peaceful territory of Ukraine", - the report said.
