The Verkhovna Rada has adopted the law on creation of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
315 people's deputies voted for the corresponding decision.
The final compromise regarding the law on creation of the Anti-Corruption Court was reached only tonight.
The question of the right of veto to appoint judges of the council of international experts triggered the greatest debate.
"The Veto of the Council of International Experts in the appointment of judges can be overridden by a majority of votes of the joint commission, which includes members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges and Council of International Experts, but with the compulsory condition that this majority includes at least half of the members of the Council of International Experts", - people's deputy Mustafa Nayyem wrote on Facebook.
