Militants launched 25 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past day. Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed. This is reported by the press center of the JFO Headquarters.
"The Russian occupation forces were active near the town of Marinka, and the villages of Krymske, Novozvanivka, Opytne, Vodiane and Shyrokyne at night. The enemy violated the ceasefire 25 times, 2 times using mortar launchers. Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed and another two were wounded in fighting in last day. Units of the JFO prevented the provocative actions of the enemy and responded adequately”, - the report said.
Five members of the Russian occupation forces were killed and another three were wounded, according to Ukrainian intelligence reports.
During the night of June 7, the escalation in Luhansk oblast was observed as militants launched five attacks outside Krymske and Novotoshkivske, using 120mm and 82mm mortars. The situation is under the Joint Forces' control.
