Visit of President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid to the Donetsk oblast will allow to demonstrate the real operational situation in the Donbass to representatives of the European Union. Infrastructure Minister Hennadiy Zubko told this to journalists in Kramatorsk.
"This is the first visit of president from the European Union to the Donetsk oblast. This is not only a question of cooperation in the humanitarian sector, but also the exchange of military experience, because many Estonians work with our military, the question of restoring infrastructure, the issue of reforms, including decentralization, Estonia helps us, and cooperation in other directions…", - Zubko said.
He noted that today, it is important to demonstrate the real operational situation to representatives of the EU. "You know that today, there was a shelling, that today, there is a threat of damage to the critical infrastructure of the Donetsk filter station… We need to show what the real situation is and that we need help in the direction of international assistance to restore the peace", - Zubko said.
As previously reported, recently militants activated massive shelling of the AFU positions and civil infrastructure.
