The militants shelled Zaitseve this morning. As a result, 9 homes were damaged, - the Department of Communications of the Main Department of the National Police in the Donetsk oblast reports.
The shelling began at 9 a.m. Civilians were not wounded.
The police continue to inspect the territory and document the consequences of the shelling.
"We found damages of 9 houses along Volohodskoho and Shumskoho streets, and two cows were injured", - the report said.
The question of opening a criminal investigation on this fact under Part 2 of Article 258 "The Terrorist Act" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being decided.
Zaitseve village is divided into two parts by the line of demarcation in the Donbass: the northern one is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the southern one is controlled by the "DNR" militants. Today, the occupying "authorities" reported that six houses were damaged (two houses were burnt, four were destroyed) on their part of Zaitseve during the shelling.
