Last week, the OSCE SMM has recorded an increase in the number of ceasefire violations. Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine Alexander Hug announced this at a briefing on Skype today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"Last week, the OSCE SMM stated an increase in the number of violations of the ceasefire by 10%. Last week, we recorded 4827 violations of the ceasefire", - he reported.
Hug also noted that last week, an increase in the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements was registered almost 9 times.
"Last week, we also recorded 144 units of weapon that should have been withdrawn from the line of contact: 49 in the government-controlled areas and 95 in areas that are not controlled by the government", - he added.
