Three Ukrainian servicemen were injured in the east of Ukraine on April 9 as a result of shelling of the AFU positions by militants, - press center of the ATO headquarters reports.

The militants launched 35 attacks on positions of the ATO forces using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements.

"Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in enemy shelling. Our defenders were delivered to medical institutions and provided with the necessary medical assistance", - the report said.

In the Donetsk direction, the militants fired 122mm artillery on the AFU positions near Shyrokyne and Lebedynske and 120mm mortars - twice near Vodiane. Also, the defenders of Lebedynske came under 82mm mortars, heavy machine guns and small arms. The militants used grenade launchers of different systems outside Shyrokyne, Talakivka, Kamianka, Opytne, Marinka, Vodiane and Avdiivka. In addition, the occupants opened fire from heavy machine guns near Pyshchevyk and Kamianka, weapons on infantry combat vehicles - near Vodiane, sniper's weapon - near Pisky and small arms - near Hnutove, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Pisky, Pavlopil and Butivka coal mine.

In the Luhansk direction, the militants shelled strongholds of the AFU near Luhanske using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Ukrainian positions near Svitlodarsk and Katerynivka came under grenade launcher fire.
