The Ukrainian film "Cyborgs" will be shown abroad. This was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Japarova today at a press conference.

"During the year, the Ukrainian film Cyborgs will be shown abroad. It has already been shown in several countries. This film is one of the most effective tools to spread the Ukrainian message that this is not really a civil war, but a full-scale war, the cause of which is the aggression of the Russian Federation. There are consequences - people are dying", - Emine Japarova said.

"I hope that when the West sees our film, those people will understand that we do not differ much. We also want security for our children, the rule of law, decent education, and now we lay the foundation for this and this film is not about war, but about the world that is born within this war", - said the movie’s director Ahtem Seitablayev.

Ukrainian government structures plan to hold presentations of the film with the participation of artists, diplomats, Ukrainian politicians and public activists, as well as cyborg warriors, who became prototypes of the movie characters.

According to the People's Deputy, a member of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Maria Ionova, the film will also be shown in the American Congress in Washington (March 14) and in the Hague (March 16), Warsaw (March 17) and Brussels (March 19). "The more the world sees Ukrainian films about what's happening in Ukraine, it will be easier for us to defend the interests of Ukraine at international venues", - Ionova said, adding that there are diplomats, journalists, politicians among the audience.

The film Cyborgs was released in Ukraine on December 7, 2017. 5 UAH from each bought ticket went for aid program for the families of those killed in the Donetsk airport.
