After the meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk on February 28, there was a hope for the restoration of Vodafone's communication "in the territory" of the DNR "in the near future". So-called "head of the delegation" of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin stated this at the talks, - DAN Donetsk separatist agency reports.
"The situation with Vodafone as part of the discussion in the subgroup on economic issues in Minsk allows us to talk about the hope of restoring communication in the foreseeable future", - he stated.
According to him, the members of the Contact Group heard on February 28 the positions of representative of Vodafone, as well as of representative of the so-called "Ministry of Communications" of the "DNR".
Pushilin said nothing in more detail.
As previously reported, Darka Olifer, the spokeswoman for Ukraine's representative at the negotiations Leonid Kuchma, reported earlier that the CDDO militants assured them at the talks in Minsk on February 28 of providing security guarantees for the maintenance crews to restore Vodafon's communications.
