The Ukrainian government believes that the average salary in Ukraine in 2018 will exceed UAH 10,000 (about $365). Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this at a government meeting on Wednesday, OstroV’s correspondent reports.
"We believe that this year, the average wage in the country will be not less than 10,000 hryvnias", - he said.
"People are right - prices are rising, and our task today is to make people's incomes grow faster than prices grow. The problem of price increase is inherent in any economy, including developed ones. But in our conditions, this issue is especially sensitive", - the prime minister added.
