There is a catastrophic deficit of personnel in the so-called "People's Militia of the LNR". Resident of Luhansk Nikolai Vulich wrote about this in his blog.
"People do not want to go serving even for the money they offer", - he wrote.
He mentions the facts of almost forced call-in of men of the occupied part of Luhansk oblast to the "people's militia". "The authorities decided to act overtly. The day before yesterday (on Thursday - OstroV), the employees of the military registration and enlistment office became too active with draft notices in the city of Lutuhine. The military registration and enlistment office of Lutuhine officially explains such behavior of its employees – by preventive measures with the aim of formation of a mobile reserve in case of intensified armed hostilities… The men obediently went with these draft notices to the military registration and enlistment office…", - Vulich wrote.
According to him, a similar situation was repeated in Alchevsk. "My employee comes to work this morning and says that his brother was also brazenly presented a draft notice. When he came to the military registration and enlistment office in the morning, there were about 90 people "wishing to serve in the People's Militia of the LNR"", - the blogger told.
They all gave the undertakings not to leave the "republic", but the authorities admit that "a lot of the male population will find a way to escape from mobilization".
In order to replenish the shortage of personnel, - the post says, - the leader of the "LNR" decided to reposition the police to the front. "The authorities had to touch the subordinates of Kornet. The LNR head has no one else to join the ranks of the Army of the Republic, and he decided to take a very dangerous step. A friend familiar with the central apparatus of the Republic's MIA told me that they had received an order from the head of the LNR to assign personnel and weapons for strengthening the leading elements of the People's Militia of the LNR", - Vulich summarizes.
