Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy initiates an early consideration of the decision to repeal the law on the reintegration of Donbass, which was previously registered by the Opposition Block faction. The head of the parliament said this today at the Conciliation Council of the Parliament, OstroV’s correspondent reports.

"I will initiate the consideration of the rejection of the law on de-occupation, which was blocked by the relevant resolution of the deputies. This will take some time, but I believe that this position is political and it is correct that we reject this decision and thus open the possibility for signing and adoption of the law", - he said.

As previously reported, on January 18, the Verkhovna Rada in the second reading adopted the draft law No. 7163 "On the peculiarities of the state policy to ensure the state sovereignty of Ukraine over the temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and the Luhansk oblasts".

In turn, the parliamentary faction Opposition Bloc registered a resolution to repeal the adopted "law on the reintegration of Donbass", because of what Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy cannot sign the document and send it to the president.
