Medicines, produced in Ukraine, are not sold in pharmacies of temporarily occupied Luhansk. Local residents reported this to LIGA.net.

"If earlier one had to know the places where and when to buy them, now they can’t be found almost anywhere", - said local resident Sergei, whose name was changed for security reasons.

Another resident of Luhansk, Marina, clarified that she asked her relatives to buy medicines, produced in Ukraine, in Stanytsia Luhanska, which is located 12 kilometers from Luhansk.

"Stanytsia (the territory under Ukraine's control, - Ed.) literally saves us. I ask relatives to buy at least a flu and a cold medicines for the child. Our (Ukrainian - Ed.) pills are much more effective and cheaper", -explained Marina.

Residents of the occupied Donetsk said that there are some Ukrainian medicines in the city, but they are sold twice more expensive.

"Tsytramon-Darnytsia is sold here for sure, but it is more expensive, of course. There are a lot of Russian and Bulgarian medicines here", - Donetsk resident Irina said.

She added that, for example, prices for Tamipul pills start at $8.87. In Kyiv, the same pills cost in average $4.20-4.55.
