Calling himself "Minister of Communications of the DNR" Viktor Yatsenko has recognized serious problems with the connection of Phoenix separatist mobile operator even in the center of Donetsk and advised means to get through. He wrote about this in "Telegram-channel" of the fake "ministry".
In response to numerous complaints that the connection from Phoenix is working badly the "Minister of Communications" advised to restart the phones by transferring them to the Aircraft mode, where all functions that make the device a means of communication are disconnected.
Then you need to get out of this mode and then, according to Yatsenko, you can make calls on the phone with Phoenix SIM card.
"So, we have a crutch, but decision. If you have a problem with dialing in Donetsk, transfer your phone to the Aircraft mode and back. #PHoenix", - he wrote.
As previously reported, on January 11, Vodafone (MTS) mobile communication was disconnected throughout the occupied territory of Donbass. It did not appear in the "DNR" up to now. In this context, the demand for starter packages of the previously unpopular Phoenix separatist operator, created on the basis of equipment stolen from Kyivstar, has sharply increased. In a short time, more than 100 thousand new subscribers joined it. However, Phoenix was not able to support the sharply increased traffic and provide an appropriate level of communication.
