Twenty-six cases of deaths due to complications caused by the influenza have been registered on the occupied territory of Donetsk region as of January 22nd, - reports the press service of the so-called "Ministry of Healthcare" of the self-proclaimed "DPR".

"26 cases of deaths have been officially confirmed on the territory of the People's Republic of Donetsk since the beginning of the seasonal outbreaks of ARVI, including influenza. They are caused by complications of influenza A H1N1, the cause of death of patients was late referral to healthcare facilities"- said the statement.

The total amount of people with suspected ARVI and influenza, who sought medical help, accounted to 2419 people on Thursday in the occupied part of Donetsk region that is less by 10,6% than on Wednesday.
