Russian adviser to the leader of the "DNR" Alexander Kazakov manipulatively declares that the planned talks between the leaders of South Korea and the DPRK should serve as a signal to the Ukrainian authorities to establish a dialogue with the terrorist "republics" of Donbass. He posted this in social networks.
Kazakov tries to present Ukraine's refusal to direct contacts with terrorists as an indicator of its reluctance to stop the armed conflict in the east of Ukraine.
"When the parties to the civil war DO NOT WANT war, they establish a direct hot line between the parties, what they have done now is North and South Korea. Kyiv is constantly being told about the need for a direct dialogue with Donetsk and Luhansk, including through direct contacts (a hotline between the military) to prevent the escalation of provocations or the resumption of a full-scale conflict. Ukraine, contrary to common sense, refuses to engage in dialogue with the Donbass", - Kazakov wrote.
In fact, his parallels between North and South Korea and Ukraine and “DNR/LNR” are a classic example of manipulation of the public consciousness.
Firstly, DPRK is a recognized country, a member of the United Nations. North Korea maintains diplomatic relations with 161 member states of the United Nations. That is, we are talking about interstate negotiations. Fake "republics" of Donbass are the territories of Ukraine, illegally captured by pro-Russian militants and their "statehood" is not recognized by anyone. In other words, Kazakov continues to promote the idea of direct negotiations with terrorists.
Secondly, the problem on the Korean peninsula, in spite of its serious impact on world politics, in fact, has the features of civil confrontation, while the conflict in the Donbass is an element of a hybrid war (financially provided and managed by the Russian Federation) against sovereign Ukraine.
