Pro-Russian militants shelled the positions of ATO forces almost 47 times over 24 hours on Sunday, having wounded five servicemen of the AFU. This is reported by the of the ATO headquarters.

It is noted that the situation on the frontline was seriously worsened at the end of Sunday: Russian-occupation groups almost doubled the number of shelling, having increasingly used heavy weapons.

The ATO command offered the enemy a strengthened ceasefire to avoid another escalation of the conflict. However, representatives of the illegal armed formations agreed to observe the ceasefire at first, but a few hours later, they violated it roughly, having significantly increased the fire activity.

Ukrainian soldiers opened dense fire for effect in response to most of the shelling.
