Ambassador of Ukraine in the United States Valeriy Chaly said that the United States would military aid to Ukraine in the nearest months. He said this in the Voice of America programme - reported the UNN.

"I think that soon, just in the short term, months, we will have, and we will speak about it publicly, of such supplies (military aid from the United States - ed.) in Ukraine", - said V.Chaly.

According to him, those 658 million dollars that are in the budget of the United States for 2016 to help Ukraine are an achievement. New draft laws are specified and enable to use these resources. The point is that there are positions that require additional legislative regulation. For example, what the US Army hasn’t got, but that is needed for the Ukrainian one.

"These draft laws aim for common policies on military aid, security assistance to be embodied in the specific supply," - added V.Chaly.

He also said that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko may go to Washington on an official visit in March.
