Wheat and sunflower seeds are transported by trucks to Russia through unregulated border areas in the occupied territories. This is stated in the report of the OSCE SMM.
The mission carried out monitoring in the border area, which is not controlled by the government. In the checkpoint near Novoazovsk (101 km southeast of Donetsk) for 15 minutes of observation, members of the SMM patrol saw 24 trucks filled with wheat and sunflower seeds departing from Ukraine", - the statement said.
One of the drivers told the observers that they had to wait about 24 hours in a queue to cross the border.
