Pensions will be raised for all Ukrainians from October 1 as a result of the pension reform. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers today, - the correspondent of "OstroV" reports.
"80% of Ukrainian pensioners live beyond the poverty line, and this is a challenge for us… We know how to carry out a pension reform which will meet three criteria: justice, entailing no deficit in the mid-term, and I am strongly convinced this will allow to raise pensions for Ukrainian citizens already in October", - he reported.
"I speak absolutely objectively today: I guarantee that we will raise pension to all Ukrainians fundamentally from October 1, when implementing the pension reform which the government will propose. This is already a reality", - Groysman added.
