Even after the promised increase from April 1, the minimum wage in the “LPR” will not reach 50% of the minimum wage set in Ukraine. This follows from the statement of the so-called "finance minister of the LPR" Evgeniy Manuilov.
According to him, on the basis of the "decree" of the “leader of the republic”, since April 1, the minimum wage has been raised to the level of USD 55 in the occupied territory of the Luhansk oblast.
That is more than 2 times less than the minimum wage established in Ukraine. Since January 1, 2017, it is USD 119.
