The number of firing in the ATO zone increased by 60% last week. This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine Alexander Hug at a briefing in Kyiv today, - the correspondent of OstroV reports.

"The SMM registered a 60 percent increase in violations of the ceasefire last week", - he reported.

He also noted that the number of shelling with the use of multiple launch rocket system, mortars and artillery increased by 145%.

"If we look at the number of explosions caused by the use of mortars, artillery and multiple launch rocket system, which was registered by the SMM, the statistics is even more alarming. The SMM registered last week at least 3,930 explosions from fire using multiple launch rocket system, artillery and mortars. This figure was 1595 the week before last, that gives us a 145% increase", - Alexander Hug said.
