12 million pensioners live in Ukraine. Today this was stated by Minister of Social Policy Andriy Reva at the board meeting of the Ministry of Social Policy, - the correspondent of OstroV reports.
"The number of pensioners who live in Ukraine is 12 million. By the way, I want to answer some critics who say that the government does not know how many pensioners are there in Ukraine. There are 12 million. The figures float, because there are pensioners who live in uncontrolled territory. We have data on Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts as of August 2014. We have no statistical information how many of these unfortunate people are left in the uncontrolled territory because we do not control the territory", - he said.
