NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has once again stated that the Russian annexation of the Crimea is contrary to the values of the alliance. He said this on air of BBC, commenting on the remarks of the US administration about the possible recognition of annexation of the Crimea, - Interfax-Ukraina informs.

"To recognize, for example, the annexation of the Crimea would be against NATO’s values and its unambiguous decisions," - said NATO Secretary General.

"It is important that NATO again and again comes to an agreement and finds common solutions", - he added, referring to the possibility of developing a common position of the alliance.

A number of Russian media misquoted Jens Stoltenberg, having used the phrase "joining the Crimea to Russia" instead of "the annexation of the Crimea".
