It is necessary to achieve security prerequisites for the organization of the elections on the occupied territory of Donbass. It was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada, - reports the correspondent of OstroV.

"Today we are very far from being able to move to the question of organization of the elections since it is necessary to achieve all the safety prerequisites. Fulfillment of these conditions will be evaluated by both us and the OSCE, in particular by the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights," - said the Minister.

Klimkin noted that Russia had to, first of all, withdraw its regular forces, mercenaries and weapons from Donbass. After that, the international community, including the OSCE, must have access and control of the security situation in Donbass and only then we can speak about the organization of the "normal elections or general elections".
