The issue of approving the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU has not been included in the agenda of the forthcoming European Parliament session to be held on October 24-27in Strasbourg. It is evidenced by the draft agenda of the session posted on the website of the European Parliament, - reportsYevropeyskaya Pravda.

The document doesn’t mention approval of the visa liberalization for Georgia and consideration of the so-called mechanism of suspension of the visa-free regime.

As it is known, the delay in the approval of this mechanism is the main obstacle to the abolition of visas for Ukraine and Georgia.

The report recalls that in September the European Parliament President Martin Schulz expressed his hope that the issue of granting visa-free regime for Ukraine would be included in the agenda of the European Parliament at the session in October, but now his plans are not realized.

On the eve the new head of the European Union to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli refused to predict the date of the introduction of visa-free regime.

At the same time, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin predicts that the decision on granting the visa-free regime to Ukraine will be made in October or November, - said the statement.
