“US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz stated that russian assistance to Iran, if they are providing it, is ineffective and expressed confidence in a response from U.S. President Donald Trump”, - write “Ukrainian News”, citing a report from the program “Meet the Press” on NBC News.
Earlier four sources reported that russia is providing Iran with intelligence about the location of American troops in the Middle East, including intelligence that could help Iran determine the location of American warships.
“If they are providing anything, it is certainly not very effective, because the U.S. military is destroying Iran’s air force, air defense systems, navy, ground forces, and command and control systems. Therefore, whatever they may be providing, if they are providing anything at all, as practice shows, it does not help them very much”, Waltz commented on these reports.
According to him, “President Trump will respond accordingly to this”.
As reported, russian components were found in the drone that attacked a British base in Cyprus in early March.
