“Another 300 Ukrainian defenders are returning home from russian captivity. Also, two Ukrainian civilians were managed to be returned today. Among them are soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and our border service. Privates, sergeants, officers. They defended Ukraine in different directions: Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, in Mariupol. Most of them had been in captivity for more than a year, some since 2022”, - said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on March 6.
“I thank all our warriors who ensure this result by replenishing the exchange fund for Ukraine. I thank the entire team that worked for this result. I am grateful to the United States for mediation. It is important that the agreements worked. We remember each and every one and we must definitely bring all our people back”, - the head of state emphasized.
