“In Mariupol, finishing repairs have been completed in another 22 apartments that were damaged during the hostilities”, - said the “mayor” of the occupied city Anton Koltsov.

According to him, a total of 7,400 residential premises in 170 apartment buildings were included in the list for such repairs. Finishing repairs include interior finishing of the premises, renewal of engineering networks, as well as installation of plumbing and interior doors.

In four years after the city was seized by russian authorities, builders have restored less than 20% of such apartments.

As reported, as a result of russian aggression a significant part of Mariupol’s housing stock was destroyed. Tens of thousands of residents were left without a roof over their heads. According to the occupation authorities, about 4.5 thousand families are on the housing waiting list. So far, “municipal” housing has been provided to 70 Mariupol residents over the age of 80.
