"It concerns the construction of a new regional highway that will connect Novoazovsk with Antratsyt via Amvrosiivka", - local propagandists wrote on March 4, clarifying that this is a proposal by the Unified Institute of Spatial Planning (EIPP) of russia.
"The implementation of the project proposals will improve transport accessibility of the DNR and LNR, enhance the connectivity of the territories of the Starobesheve municipal district, and also reduce transit flows passing through residential neighborhoods in populated areas", - representatives of the EIPP are quoted as saying.
It is noted that, according to the plan, the new road will partially pass through the "territory of the Starobesheve district along Kolosky and Novozarivka, then in the area of Sontseve with a connection to highway 21 OPR3 21K-09, and then will go further south — beyond the boundaries of the municipal district".
To ensure road safety, the project includes the arrangement of three at-grade self-regulated intersections of the new highway with existing roads.
In addition, it is proposed to build four multi-level interchanges as part of the proposed "Novoazovsk – Amvrosiivka – Antratsyt" road, as well as a citywide street 0.77 km long as part of the construction of an interchange and an overpass over railway tracks in Amvrosiivka.
