"The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has banned the Ukrainian Paralympic team from wearing their national uniform due to... the presence of elements of Ukraine’s map in its internationally recognized borders. There is no moral limit that IPC bureaucrats would not be willing to cross. They are ready to completely destroy the remnants of the Committee’s reputation, acting contrary to UN General Assembly resolutions, Ukraine’s territorial integrity, and international law — all just to please russian war criminals", - wrote Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha on X on March 4.

He called on the international community, including all states and national paralympic committees, to condemn the immoral actions of the IPC, in particular "...its shameful decision to allow the presence of blood-stained russian and belarusian flags, and to boycott the opening ceremony of the Winter Paralympic Games".

"We ask you to take a clear position and refuse to be part of the whitewashing of war crimes carried out by the International Paralympic Committee!" - Sybiha emphasized.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that already 11 countries, including Ukraine, have decided to boycott the opening of the Paralympic Games due to the admission of russia and belarus.
