"Oleksandrivske direction: units of the Air Assault Forces grouping are continuously pressing the enemy, liberating Ukrainian land, destroying the occupiers, and methodically cutting off their logistical arteries. As of now, 9 settlements have been liberated, 3 settlements have been cleared of the enemy in our zone, and work is currently underway to liberate several more settlements", - the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on March 2 on Telegram.
"During the operation, a systematic and decisive displacement of the enemy from fortified positions is being carried out. Targeted and massive strikes are destroying enemy manpower, weapons, military and special equipment. According to the balanced plan of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, under the clear leadership of the commander of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the consistent and effective implementation of the offensive operation has been ensured", - the statement said.
It is noted that "the operation was carried out in accordance with a defined plan, and within a week, as a result of the decisions made and the use of technical means, the enemy forces' access to the Starlink network was restricted".
"This significantly affected the situational awareness of the occupiers and complicated the command and control of units at the initial stage, but the enemy did not stop its offensive actions and continued to advance. Aerial reconnaissance units and FPV teams are working continuously and effectively, detecting and destroying targets, leaving the enemy without a single safe rear area", - the General Staff noted.
It is also reported that since the beginning of the operation (from January 29, 2026), enemy losses have included: personnel — 6,537 (of which irrecoverable — 4,355, sanitary — 2,167, captured — 15); weapons and military equipment — 419; tanks — 7; UAVs — over 700.
