“The main thing is that during these talks between our president and the Americans it was once again stated that without resolving the territorial issue according to the formula agreed in Anchorage, one should not expect to achieve a long-term settlement”, - said aide to the head of the russian dictator Yuri Ushakov, as russian media write, on the night of January 23.
At the same time, he hypocritically stated that in russia they are “sincerely interested in resolving the Ukrainian crisis by political and diplomatic means”.
“As long as this is not the case, russia will continue to consistently pursue the goals set before the special military operation precisely on the battlefield, where the russian armed forces hold the strategic initiative”, - Ushakov said.
Let us recall that representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump — special envoy Steven Witkoff, Jared Kushner, as well as a senior White House adviser and commissioner of the U.S. General Services Administration’s Federal Acquisition Service Josh Gruenbaum — arrived in moscow last night, January 22, for talks with putin. As Ushakov reported, they shared assessments of recent contacts on the “Ukrainian settlement”.
“They, so to speak, shared firsthand their impressions and fresh assessments of the meeting of the U.S. president in Davos with Zelensky, at which both Witkoff and Kushner were personally present”, - Ushakov told propagandists.
According to him, the representatives of the American president “also gave assessments of other contacts that took place with them during December–January in Mar-a-Lago in Florida and in a number of European capitals”.
“In general, I would say that the meeting of the russian president with American representatives was specifically focused on obtaining information about the Americans’ contacts with the Ukrainians and with European partners and, together, as it were, determining the parameters of further actions”, - explained the aide to the russian dictator.
