Former US president’s special envoy Keith Kellogg believes that if Ukraine “survives” this winter, the advantage in the war will be on its side, not on the side of russia. He stated this during a panel discussion at the Ukrainian House in Davos, organized by the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation, writes European Pravda.
During the discussion, Kellogg expressed confidence that russia will not win the war in Ukraine.
He believes that the head of the kremlin, vladimir putin, against the backdrop of the fact that russia has “suffered heavy losses”, is looking for a way to “exit this situation with dignity, because he understands: he will not win this war”.
“I understand that this is a hard winter. I understand what is happening in Kyiv, I know about the frost. But I sincerely believe: if Ukraine survives this winter — January, February — and we enter March and April, the advantage will be on your side, on the side of Ukraine, not russia”, - Kellogg emphasized.
According to the former Trump envoy, the problem is that putin has “psychologically already reached a point where he simply cannot let the situation go”.
“Because if he lets go, he will admit that this was a defeat, that everything he did was a failure”, - Kellogg summed up.
